If the green were darker ... I'd probably still not like it, but it would look better. Oah well each to their own.

I admire the effort gone in, but it's not for me. However, I will forgive you if you give me those TT comps for free. :P In all seriousness, if you're planning on refurbing those comps early next year for the summer why the hell not use them over the winter? Sure they're in a bad way but they still looks tons better than the painted stock wheels. I would just use them and not care about them - scrape the odd kerb etc.

Definatly excellent effort, much better than spinning rims.

I sort of don’t mind them. I like the originality of them, but think the green is a bit too light in colour for my tastes. But, I would love to see them actually moving on the car, as I think they might look very interesting with a green band rather than the static shot just showing the green inserts.

Green rub strips? Green fog light surrounds? Green door handles & mirrors? and a big green vinyl stripe off centre?.. dear lord.. green tints?

I'm going to refurb the comps over the winter myself, thats why i took them off again, these are the original wheels but they were in a bad way to say the least so why not paint them, ideally i was trying to match the 'v' on the vrs badge but halfords have a shi*e selection of paint on the shelf and believe it or not, this was the closest i could find!!!

I think it's great to see someone trying something a little different. Most poeple (myself included) who mods their cars all tend to follow with the trend (trying to keep up with the Jones's) and are afraid to try something new.

It's like when the new style 5 Series BMW came out, everyone hated it's looks but I now think it's one of the nicest lookin cars on the road.

If you like your wheel's keep them on and 10+ 10+ 10+ for being different. I'm a little undecided about the wheels but I think you could be onto starting a new trend
