Just bought a third iPod (my 2nd + SWMBO's) from Apple store UK's Refurb section. My 31 month old iPod Video 30Gb (5th Gen) has been badly for a while with the battery only lasting about 2 hours on full charge, so i bought a replacement battery kit off eBay and tried to fix it myself (my first mistake i know). Well true to form my big clumbsy oaf hands broke something delicate and it ceased to be (FAIL i know), wasn't too bothered as it was old anyway. So went back on the Refurb store yesterday and got myself a 3rd Gen (the square one) 8Gb Nano for £72, not bad considering they come as new, boxed with a full warranty, dont like the new one anyway, too tall looking for me. Dont need 30+Gb anymore now as its used solely for the gym and biking, so i figured a solid state player would be a better idea anyway.

So anyway, ordered yesterday at 3, was delivered to work at 9 this morning :eek: (free delivery too) not bad considering they quoted 3-5 day delivery. So this is the third time i have bought from them and i still remain very impressed and happy.

So this goes as a recommendation to save yourself a bit of money, beware stock changes daily though. Also has anyone else bought from them?

You need to really check the refurb store daily or you will miss the bargains!

i have been watching their refurb site for a while for the right thing to turn up. suprising what you can get off these sites.

Now just need home stereo with docking point for SWMBO... those were the terms.
