Did first fuel check today(Roomster 2 1.9TDI). Car has now done 900miles. Results show 52.05mpg on mainly short 10mile work journey, urban, fairly traffic free motoring,computer 2 memory shows 55.5 mpg, very pleased with that.

Checked my consumption after 300 miles of mixed motoring, mostly my wife using the car for local trips to shops etc., with the occasional bit of M'way running; showing 27.5mpg!

I'm paying the price for having a 1.6 tiptronic.

Have taken it very easy though,rarely exceeding 2k revs,don't know whether this is right but no probs with previous fabia sdi and did 56k with no engine probs.
