Hi from the New Forest, Hampshire

Featured Replies

Hi to you all. This is my first time on any sort of forum site, I live in the New Forest and am about to purchase my first Skoda. I stumbled across the forum when looking to see if I should spend £249 on the AutoGlym LifeShine offered by my local dealer as I purchase my new Octavia. I've read through what was written about a year ago and it was all very interesting but there was no definitive answer as to whether anyone thought it a good deal.

Any more suggestions?

Cheers

Welcome to Briskoda.

I too was offered this by my dealer but as I can spend two to three hours cleaning my car I declined this.

Thanks for your welcomes. In the end I decided to pay the man. If it had been spring time or if I'd got somewhere undercover to wax & polish I think I'd have said no. I've been reading what everyone has been saying about washing, waxing & polishing & again there's lots of useful tips & suggestions - but at the end of the day it's what you want to do & if you feel good about it then that's the battle won. Isn't it?? :)

welcome along to the site.

Hello and Welcome.

Welcome. Enjoy the car :)
