Right i'm upto £4000 in my VRS slosh fund! I've put my G40 up for sale (for £2300 - hoping for £2000) - so that gives me £6000 to spend on a nice VRS! I drove my mates on Saturday and loved it - really want one now!Not sure what colour to go for either - wont be a blue one as they are too expensive! Dont think i could live with a yellow one. So that makes Red, Black or Silver. (pics would help! )What should I be looking at when buying a VRS?????????Cheers in advance! (Noob)

Go for a black one. Quite common but look the doggies do-dahs

You'd need to look hard for that price mate and be prepared to wait.

I've looked at 4 the past week, 1 04 plate and 3 05 plates. One of the Silver 05 plates looked liked it had spent its 32000miles behind a gritter!!:eek:

My conclusion is that EVERYONES idea of 'its minted mate!' is TOTALLY different from mine. If its cheap, then i think its cheap for a reason!

Well i got mine for £4500 so £6k is plenty. I`d go yellow personaly, but i got black and im pleased i have apart from yellow id not change it, looks real nice when its clean.

For £7500 you could buy Shiftys with it running 250BHP already it could save you 1000's !!!!

And as if by magic, a Freedom member is advertising a black vRS for smack on this money. Incidentally I think that that car is a bargain.

I would buy shiftys car as well. You will only find yourself in the modding game if you dont. Personally i like to buy cars with mods to save cash.

he would have looked after that really well to so well worth it! If i wanted a skoda i would get that for sure.
