Enabling Delayed Wiper Operation on Roomster

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know this from that topic. Want to do on my Roomi...

http://briskoda.net/technical-guides/disabling-enabling-delayed-wiper-operation/71183/

It should be in:

Select Controller 09

Login 21343

Choose Adaption 10

Select Channel 05

Modify it to 0 (Default is 5 for Enabled).

Did anyone do this in Roomster or Fabia 2? We couldn't find on VAS 5051B device, maybe it is hiding in a different addres...

Help.... :)

You looking for the reverse (To enable)?

Hmmmm

Hang 5....

Hmmm. Keeps coming up with a com error on my MemoScan which is a shame as I love that feature.

I like this feature, I am used to it in my Fabia. But we couldn't find it in VAS, to enable it in Roomster...

I want to wash the screen first with enough amounts of water, then after a couple of seconds wipers should engage. I want to set that..

But in factory settings, wipers starts to run on my first touch to the handstick when I wash the screen. So that, it kills the wiper blades and scratches the windscreen. In my country we don't have so much rain. Without enough water, dry wiper blades howl teribbly... :D

Yeah, you get the line of water right up the middle  meaning you used the wipers more to clear:mad:

Hi Irfant,

Do you have any updates regarding the wiper issue?

Hi Irfant,

Not yet, but at the end of the month I'll visit the service for 2nd year maintenance. We will search it again... :)

Only just seen this post but this is exactly what I am looking for. I don't like the idea of the wipers moving grit and whatever else before being lubricated.

Can this facility be requested from a dealer?

When it works on Fabia Mk1, should be in Roomster and Fabia 2 too... I hope so :)

I'll let you know asap, if I find something...
