I do agree that it's about twice what I'd expect to pay (based on the Golf prices) though.

If you were willing to put the graft in and had the required skills, you could bulid one cheaper, obviously the labour is a large element. The mag it was featured in reckoned it cost iro 20K to build.

I was talking about the sort of money completed VR6 projects usually go for.

Wonder when they'll manage to sell it, and how much for :) I reckon however long it takes them to take the asking price under £4k.
