Drummond28 was passing Epsom on his way to Kent today and popped in to say hi and to show off his new Superb CR170 Elegance.

I must say what an excellent colour choice Storm Blue with Ivory Leather and the wood trim, it looks stunning. Tempted to order one just like it as the next demo Superb.

Also I can't explain how good the sound system upgrade is, it sounds amazing. I thought the standard system in our demo is great but the upgrade is well worth the money, I'm glad I've finally been able to hear one now. If anyone is considering going for this option just go for it, actually your best bet is to PM Drummond28 or Bagpuss who both have the new system and both of them have heard the standard system and compared it to the upgrade system.

Hopefully you'll come back again with your 170bhp(ish;)) Superb sometime.

A30 -> M5 Taunton -> A303 -> M3 J4a route every other week and I'd be happy to take in a detour if you are close by.

I really like the storm blue/ivory combination as well. Sadly, ivory just isn't child friendly enough. I've already had a nice sticky lolly attached to the back seat of mine :(

When you finally receive it JCBlincs you will realise it was worth the wait. While I sympathise fully with you, things as you know, dont always work out as planned when it comes to production. Perhaps you could ask Skoda UK for some token gesture to keep you sweet and make you Happy Skoda Driver to be, as in your case NOT yet:eek:

I never thought of that - good idea !! i have an "investigation" currently being undertaken by skoda UK. Whilst they are actually keeping in touch via email and have generated an enquiry ticket number i suspect it will come to nothing. at least they are bothering !! i shall raise the issue of "what are going to do to keep me happy ?". i think the problem is that i have never bought a new car before. The reason i chose a new one (apart from the obvious point that you cant get a used superb yet) is that i was fed up of looking for a nearly new car with exactly the right spec on it for me. I figures it was worth spending the extra you pay for a new car and getting the options i wanted. i thought buying new would be easier and less hassle !! how wrong i was !!i know it will be worth the wait - was just hoping to get it in time for christmas but no luck !
