New Year Rolling Road Day - Sheffield Mid-Jan Feeler

Featured Replies

Ive got all your new year resolution's sorted people :)

Im putting out a feeler for a Sheffield Rolling Road day it will be around the middle of Jan, with easy access just off the M1 near meadowhall.

Price will be aroun the £30-£35 mark as usual

It will includes atleast two runs until within 1hp of each other then one of these (yes go on the one with the most hp!) will be printed for you.

For petrol cars you will receive a graph of estimated flywheel power and torque and on another sheet you will get wheel power and air fuel ratio.

For the diesels.... same as above minus the AFR.

Remember your all welcome to come along even if you don't intend to go on the RR.

As said just a feeler to see if we can get enough people interested at the moment.

Nice username ;) Well if its a local RR then no harm in putting it on standard in Jan, and then going back when you have added different mods to see gains!

I'm a strong possible for this, thanks for looking into it

Will depend on the dates and family commitments.

No problems, octimark which car would you run? or both ;)

Interested but probably with the MX5 rather than the Skodas?

The name refer's to what was (my last octy in sig) now in a vRS... long story anyhow lol Good point bout putting it on standard actually

Bit of a distance to travel from Czech Andy? ;)

Who's rollers will this be on???

Cheers

Dave.

  • 2 weeks later...

My lass has family that way and its not a massive hike from Bridlington. I work daft shifts though so it'll depend entirely on the date.

I'm about to inherit a revo switch so it could be interesting to test it at stock first then turn it up full blast, time permitting of course! I'm also getting the liquid gauge for xmas so if its fitted in time we can test the accuracy of its power measurements.

AndyRS do we know each other?

Depends on the date but I might be intrested in making a trek.

With all the stick I'm taking I'm going to see if I can stay with a friend down there so not to tempt me to drink, then at least I can drive in the morning.
