my hesitation is starting to get worse i swear and im now periodically getting my engine manegment light flashing while its hesitation and a few times ive lost boost altogether, really not happy now! Has anyone else had these symptoms also??

It's called limp mode, something is not right, so the engine is going into limp mode to protect itself.

You probably have an air leak somewhere.

You may well have the 17705 fault code which puts the car into limp and is a pain in the a55 to find the cause. Get your fault codes read first to see if the code is listed.

Why not take the car back to who ever mapped it, tell them the problems you are having and get them to fix it..?

Millie am I right in saying you are running LPG on a remapped car?

WrightyRS has a remapped Mk1 Octy vRS with an LPG conversion, mapped by Mike at Impossible.

If Millie is running LPG on a mapped Octy vRS it might be worth him getting in touch with either of those to see if they can assist?

yes it loves the gas but but that hesatation miss fire is still ther and ive replaced the airflow senser and the dp. but car still doin it. its goin bk monday again

Do a search there is loads about it but if there ain't no code then it won't be that. Oh and when you said dp did you mean DV (dump valve)?

1 just looked it up. its for leaks and stuff like that .cheers il get it read tomorow

Judging by your other problems and this one, it sounds too me like you have an air leak somewhere in the system. You need too start checking around for leaks in the rubber hoses that are scattered around your engine bay. These can be the cause of a lot of problems, as can the throttle body mentioned above. I would get the codes read (if any) then try having a poke round the engine bay for a leak.

thats wat il do tomorow because it does feel like its loosing some sort of pressure so hopefully thats wat it is and i dnt have to drive 100mile to where i got it mapped. sometimes it feels like the turbo isnt doin its job, does that sound rite

yes my car loves the lpg. i ham taking it bk for the 2nd time. they told me it was the mass air flow at 1st so i replaced it and it was better but im still gettin the miss fire wen i floor it. i have also changed the dp to a 007 and its still the same and the dp is not giving me the pzzzzz sound like it should. oh and thanks i am getting the diagnostic done again tomorow

are you getting the misfire on LPG or on petrol? LPG will usually suffer poor running much sooner than petrol if there is any kind of weakness in the ignition system like spark plugs or coilpacks.

Millie, if you are talking about the loud noise of an atmospheric dump valve then you will not get that with the 007 as it is a recirculating valve(the air goes back into the intake pipework and is therfore quieter, this type of engine will give fault codes if you use a normal ADV) If your car was making this noise prir to fitting the 007 then your old plastic DV would have been faulty as they are suposed to be quiet, you can get a louder noise by changing to a CAI or foam type flat panel air filter and some people are using the Forge SplitR DV but I think there may be some issues with these as well. HTH

Its more realiable than the standard one and thats about it really, a tiny bit louder but you won't be able too hear it like an atmos one.

my car is loosing pressure between throttle valve and turbo. im getting warmer to find out wat the problem is. probally its the boost pressure valve. are they expensive?
