So, not needing to be asked twice weather i'd accompany a friend down to Jabbasport on friday so he could have me there for advice on his golf, i also headed down in the Fabia. He was having Weitec coilovers and a neuspeed RARB fited along with a custom remap for his Golf MKV 1.9Tdi, the results for his were very pleasing and I must say even I was impressed. Not that i needed an excuse or anything but i used this oppertunity to have uprated console bushes (front and rear) fitted to the fabia along with the solid dogbone bush. I must say that with the new dogbone bush the responsiveness of the engine has been upped and the vibration through the pedals isn't too bad, quite nice actually, I feel more connected to the car. Anywhoo, I have also posted in the jabbasport section but thought you guys might be interested, any questions on the dogbone bush feel free to ask. As usual, it was a super service from Jabba and i made use once again of the large selection of DVDs and Xbox games that they have to offer!

Whats the noise like with the dogmount? Vibrations at idle or anything?

Did you get the soft or hard bush fitted in the dog mount?

I got the hard superpro, The vibration at idle is pretty harsh to be honest, but i do really like what it has done to the engine responce at higher than 1,500 revs. Plus it feels like I have a big engine up front, makes the whole car wobble... Personally I like it but would understand that it's not to everyone's taste. Bear in mind that mine is a 1.4Mpi that wobbles more than the 1.9TDi engine.

Think i need to come for a trip to Oxford and have a go in your brum brum Duggie see what i fancy doin with my little baby engine too.

It certainly is a baby engine... who the hell puts a 68Bhp engine in a car that weighs 1.3 tonnes?

Lol ok - sit in him with the engine on then tee hee. I am quite interested in this responsivness, as i am the worlds most impatient person, sure u can demonstrate that without me needin to drive tho. but i would wanna see how much the vibration affects as i do have a 3 year old (and on occasions my mother) in the car too.

They did do a good job but the 180 mile round trip is a bit of a killer, i may be calling on your services soon Lummox... i have my eyes on a B&M short shifter and some exhaust mods... nothing too loud though... just for exhaust gas airflow.
