F***ing B****rds !!!

Featured Replies

I came out to the car this morning to find a nice surprise that a blue van had left its mark on my car

I saw the van but didnt know it had actually hit the car so I didnt think anything of it, Im sure it was a couple of lasses in it aswell and they looked like chavs, stupid bi***es !!!

The thing whats ****ed me off so much is that there was no details left because they would have known damn fine they hit my car, fair enough it was probably just an accident but they could have at least had the decency to leave some details or find out whos the car was :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: people like this REALLY boil my **** and have no respect for other peoples property !!!

Here is some pics, thankfully it looks like its just scraped and hasnt done any major panel damage but it will still have to go in the bodyshop to get sorted !

When it does go in to get sorted I think Ill have the badge taken off the boot and smoothed over aswell :D

unluckee - the same thing happened to my ibiza gti in the gym car-park.

like you have mentioned - silver lining is the smoothed boot.

Have you tried to buff out the marks??

(try SRP and micro fibre cloth first)

doesnt look too bad, same sortov idea happened to mine, got 90% of it out with the rotary polisher - cant see it now :)

Is the rear 1/4 dented or just scratched?

Feel for you mate, have had that done to me.

Davy

My car door got hit by Salford Car and Van minibus and the cheeky sods parked somewhere else on the same carpark

They have no respect

It doesnt seem to be dented anywhere just scratched, I think the bumper has moved slightly though as the gap seems bigger now ??

I think it could all be polished out as the scratches dont seem to be deep, Ill get it along to the bodyshop and see what they say

It always a long shot, but when this happens and you have paint transfer, phone the local Police. It is classed as a hit and run VA and the traffic Police will keep a lookout for blue vans and pull any that have damage. If they catch the bar stewards it's 12 points and a very hefty fine.

So annoying this kind of thing. My Fabia has damage to it's rear bumper, both rear doors and both rear wheel arches, all due to retards in car parks hitting it when parked, and more specifically in the BUPA car park in Salford Quays when wife worked there.

5 points! Not classed as a hit and run unless the paint is transferred to a human being! :) In which case I'd rather see a 12 pointed object being hidden intimately on the driver's person than go through the structured rigmarole that is "the law".

5 points and several hundreds of pounds fine for leaving the scene of an accident etc... Mind you, the offence relates to the driver. If there's more than one person in the vehicle, can you prove a particular person was driving?

J.

Not sure if the RTA differs in Scottish law, but up here it would be.

Failing to stop at the scene of an accident, driving with undue care and attention, failure to report VA to Police, Careless driving. It is then up to the registered keeper to state who was driving.

I know a guy who clipped a parked car mirror in Edinburgh, and he honestly didn't even know he had done it. Caught on CCTV, 12 points £1000 fine. OUCH.

Thats **** man..... !

Body shop to get it done properly then ?

Can only echo what the guys have said already, but thats poop

You could well be lucky. It looks like you've put a good few coats of wax on that car, so it might polish out. It does look like you will need the bumper fit adjusted though.

same thing happend to my driverside wing, some dipstick though he would use my car to help grind into a parking spot,

yours doesnt look as bad, consider yourself lucky to how worser it could have been.

No details left... indicates no insurance... especially as you say they looked like chavs...

can only sympathise with you mate... i have myself been on the receiving end of chavvish behavour :(

Hope it dont cost you too dearly in the end

if you got the reg of the van you can report it at your local police station...i believe its a fail to stop road traffic collision and if you have the reg, you can take it further....

That's a shame - This has always been a nice car that I would certainly make an offer on if it went up for sale.:(
