F***ing B****rds !!!

Featured Replies

Same thing happened to me in the work's car park, they left the bumper hanging off by an inch or so and took quite a bit of paint off it. Luckily it was only the plastic bumper and missed the arch.

The gutting thing is that you know that they know they did it - so they've actively made the decision to run and leave you with a big bill and no comeback.

I feel your pain.

Feel gutted for you.

Very similar thing happened to my mums BMW, only night it was parked on the road, and a Citi Bus scrapes the entire wheel arch and front bumper. Didn't see it but as the bus regularly travels up and down the road and has a distinctive shade of paint we were pretty sure. Shame he didn't stop and we couldn't prove it!

srp = super resin polish

micro fibre cloth from tesco (3 pack for less than a pound)

give it a go - prob cheaper than garage cost ( unless they fix it at mate's rates which could be free)

I had the same thing after I'd had my vrs for a month and like you was absolutely fuming!

I got the replacement panels and found a good spray shop who knocked some money off for cash but it still cost me £600 all together. Gutted.

I know that I'd leave my details if I hit someones car like that (partly because I'd be scared that someone had seen!) but the fact that you know other people would just drive away makes you think twice...

Hope you manage to get it sorted at a reasonable price mate - better still, hope that the van drivers conscience gets the better of them (not likely!)

Thanks for the comments everyone :D

Im just going to have it sorted properly so it will be going to the bodyshop soon :D

Ill post some pics when its sorted and all shiny clean :D

Would one of those mobile chips away type people be cheaper ?

I have seen them in action and there work seems pretty damn good to me.

Might be a option than going for the full bodyshop route:thumbup:
