Hello all, new to here.

I have an '04 Octavia Estate 110 Tdi (engine ASV) with 72k miles

While gently accelerating there is a hesitation at around 1500rpm then accelerates noramally throughout the revs.

Has anybody else experienced this??

I have never driven a Tdi Octy (only petrol) but this sounds like normal Turbo lag to me.

Same with mine. Dont think its nothing to worry about, probably turbo lag as said before or just a flatspot which can be mapped out if need be.

My TDi 90bhp doesn't have a flat spot, just picks up and goes. Can't say about the 110.

mine is the same engine as yours but doesn't do that.

Getting someone to check it with vagcom is probably a good idea.
