Just reserved myself a full size one, although there doesn't seem to be much availability. As it doesn't seem much bigger than the compact I'm hoping I can make it fit.

Compact is pretty good but I still have not fitted mine yet.

Have fitted one to somebody elses car where the OEM one had died.

Think i might get one of these, the one in my fabia is embarrassing, how easy are they to fit, straight like for like swap with the oem?

Depends who you go with.

You may or may not need a relay and you will need to take spades off the OEM connector.

Search in the Roomster forum for a thread entitled Barp or Beep. It's the first mod anyone does to a Roomster as the OEM is worse than a toy.

I went to pick up the £8 one I reserved but the box was old, battered, and the relay/fixing kit was missing - so I didn't bother. Hopefully if any of you lot manage to reserve one you'll fair better. I think I'll just go for the compact as more likely to fit, come with all the bits, and less likely to be second hand.

Full size ones now appear to be £4.
