Heated Seat Switches - Am I Seeing Things?

Featured Replies

My II Estate has heated seats but the connections for the switches appear to be the wrong way round.

The one nearest the driver turns the passenger heat on and vice versa.

Is this a cunning plan to keep the mind active while driving or have they put connected them up wrong?

Sorry for the boring post!!

Lol.

Trip to the stealers me thinks...... Maybe they were just testing you to see if you noticed.

Cheers

Dave.

Could be set up for a left hand drive car.............

Could be set up for a left hand drive car.............

If that was the case then you would still have the same problem of the wrong seat being switched on by the wrong switch!

NO............It's a Skoda.............Volvo is the way Forward.......:)

Shouldn't take your dealer long to swap the connections on the heated seat switches.. You just have to lift the lift up the gear lever cover and the heated seat switches are just in front of the hole uncovered by the gear lever cover.

Hope you get it sorted, there are enough of other stuff to think of while driving in todays traffic .-)

Shouldn't your sign say "BRISKOLVO" not "BRISKOVLO"???

It wouldn't surprise me as they did a recall on the Roomster for a similar fault, except that it was on the side airbags.

I had heated seats in a Volvo I had about 30 years ago. Take my advice and rip the thing out or at the very least disconnect it.

Did you know that heated seats can aggravate the 'Chalfont St Giles' condition? Take this as a warning.

my friends roomster also had this problem, got it sorted when it went in for service, they just switched the switches over.
