do you have a completely seperate sensor for the gauge, or are you referring to the second sensor sited after the CAT?

If the latter then it will be a waste of time connecting AFR gauge, the gauge sensor needs to be in front of the CAT to work as it's supposed to.

The general answer to your question is you need the black wire (assuming it is a bosch 4-wire sensor with white, white, grey and black wires)

Also don't connect a gauge to any wires on a 5-wire sensor even if there is a black wire.

thank you for the replies, both very helpful.

I seem to have lost my cat :) at some point so that does effect it (i put wanted posters up and a reward but no one found it ) but i will link it up to the front one now.

Thanks Tom

Your front sensor will be a five wire braodband probe (six pins iirc but two are linked inside) so if you still have a second probe go for the black wire on that assuming it hasnt been mapped out.
