dpf problems

Featured Replies

Bought octavia vrs tdi new march 08. Problems with dpf warning light coming on even in the middle of long journeys. Went into local dealer who treated problem with new programme. Prob reapeated itself last week at start of 35 mile journey to work. Light didn't go out and after 28 miles deisel glow plug warning lit up and reduced to emergency power. Called dealer who advised calling out Skoda assistance. Did so and AA man fixed on spot. OK at the moment but is anybody else having similar probs?

Cheers

Have you searched?

There are several threads on this subject already. However, when your dealer did the 'new program' (which ought to be the 26E6 upgrade) did he fit the new modified/upgraded Exhaust Gas Pressure sensor (part of the 26E6 upgrade)?

Have a look at these threads;

Hope that helps.
