Tools in spare wheel area -contents?

Featured Replies

What tools and parts are stored in the spare wheel bay as standard? Not sure if I missing anything, just seems a lot of empty compartments with nothing in them!

All I got was jack, wheelbrace, and key for the locknuts.

Remember that other markets don't always get the same toolkit as we do(n't).

You may also have a plastic U shaped tool for removing the plastic bolt covers (I had one in my VRS). Also not sure if I had a screw driver in it as well (or could be remembering a different car!!!).

fill the compartments with what eva comes in handy, i have a warning triangle, tow rope, jump leads and some over tools spanner, bit wrench for ease of undoing the wheel nuts, and some spare rag so i dont transfer dirt to my lovely interiou

Just looked on Vagcat and it shows a tow hook, plastic trim remover, slotted screwdriver and jack.

I've added a spare bulb and fuses set in the compartment. Tools and jump leads are in the boot and I will add a rag or two as well.

My MkI vRS came with Jack, wheelbrace, locking wheel bolts key, U-shaped plastic thingy for removing the wheel bolts covers and a double ended cabinet / crosspoint screwdriver.
