while i was changing my air filter today i must of tugged to hard and in the wrong place on the engine cover when removing it and cracked,it total gutted :(. its about a 6 inch split. engine cover went back on and it dosent rattle so ok for now. but i know its there and its annoying me, does anyone where i can get a replacement from with out going through the main dealers. thanks:thumbup:

Try eBay. You are looking circa £200 for a new one as it can't be bought without the MAF.

In future always do it with a warm engine especially in this weather, Start from the back right as it's the strongest place. When you put it back on use some silicone or similar to lubricate the rubbers.

You can get one from a scrappy even, for about a fiver off a VW or Seat there the same
