Have noticed since getting my car back from the garage that when I reset my mileage, the stalk doesn't come back out and stays stuck, so when I start ignition I get a service message. Seems to be ok if I pull out the stalk, I'm sure it used the spring back out before. Anyone had this happen before, is it expensive to fix, will get it looked at next service.

Mine seems to work more on pressure than travel. (same age and model, if not body style).
