Featured Replies

recently looking in the engine bay of octy and knowticed a green cover wasnt in a hole in the top of the gear box housing

does anyone know wat it is and where it goes

its located down between the air box on the right hand side of the engine next to the starter motor

any info wanted

cheers

If it's the same as on older VWs it sounds like the hole where you check the timing marks.

With the engine running, can you see the flywheel spinning?

Nah no oil in there, it just goes into the bell housing.

you'd be surprised how many vw owners have put oil in there!
