Bolero + SD Card

Featured Replies

Hi - anyone know if Bolero supports SD cards with capacity above 2 GB (manual mentions 2GB SD cards being available but not whether that is the limit it can accept - I have seen 4GB cards)?

Also the manual says it is possible to copy tracks to the unit's hard drive but gives no clues how. Once I get an SD card and transfer MP3's to it and load it into unit, does the SD card menu give yo0u clues as to how to copy to hard drive (and how much it will hold) ?

lots of info on this topic in here - its been discussed at length. use the search facility to look for bolero and you will get all you need

in a nutshell :

new SDHC cars work in bolero - up to 16GB has been verified by another user (bagpus)

cant copy to hard drive in bolero as it doesnt have one !!! columbus unit has hard drive with about 18gig free for music. bolero can only use cd/DVD/SD

Thanks Jonathan - found it hidden in a Columbus thread!

So the Bolero manual's reference to a hard drive is wrong - probably copied from the same section of the Columbus manual and someone forgot to delete the inapplicable !

On subject of satin grey, when are you expecting yours ? I will try to post more pics of mine at weekend when I have washed it. :)

Thanks again

build week is 50 which is next week :)

hope to get it straight after xmas. I think i will wait until jan to register it as even if it turns up at the dealer before xmas i dont think i can get down to collect it and it makes sense to get it registered as 09 instead of 08 for the sake of a few days. Staying at home over xmas so no need for a car ! woudl be nice to show of the new car to the relatives but as they dont drive they dont really see what the fuss is about anyway !!!
