Hi,

I recently insured my Octavia with you guys, but received a letter the other day saying due to their being a 'difference to the information originally supplied' an extra £5.53 was being debited from my card in the next 7 days!

Whats that all about then!!?? :confused:

Please get in contact as I got bored of waiting on hold on the phone this morning :(

Do they think they've caught you out on an undeclared mod? Otherwise it's yet another nail in the coffin of my opinion of the two 'club' insurers (sorry, just saying it how I see it... :thumbdwn: )

Well I can't think of anything I didnt tell them, but even if there was, what's a £5.53 increase??

Hi good people! I just updated my car to SW 332 (came with 330). I have Superb combi 2023 Style, but it has Columbus (bigger) MIB3 infotainment. First I wanted to update maps, as it was V25.5. So, I've downloaded 26.2 (latest from https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/), added it to the USB-A stick, but nothing happened, no notification. Left the stick inside and in the meantime got trial for Infotainment online package. Now it's saying map version 26.6 (despite online showing 26.2), so what happ

I have previously commented on lane assist being a problem but this morning it came very close to causing an accident. I was following a friend and neighbour on the first part of our respective journeys to work. The road is subject to a 60mph limit. I was doing just on 40. He turns right and pulls into the right turn lane provided so there is plenty of room to pass on the nearside. Hi all, I have an issue with my 2005 Octavia I was hoping to get some assistance with. For as long as I can remember I’ve had a strange, intermittent issue with the electric windows on the car. If I get in and start the ignition, the radio doesn’t show the time in the centre at the top, I know my electric windows won’t work. As soon as the clock is displayed the windows work again. Ok, Matrix Leds are fantastic. When driving on A or B class roads they working perfect, illuminates both sides of the road and cuts out cars at the front or oncoming traffic. I've never been flashed. When I tried to use them on motorway it's a different story. Right headlamp is illuminating as expected but left one doesn't illuminate side of the road but only gives a lot of light far at the front of the car.. I'm replacing the front springs and shocks due to a broken spring on the left side and a lot of visible rust on the shocks. By the guides I've seen online this requires separating the hub from the driveshaft, but on both sides the hub bolts are incredibly stuck. I've tried soaking with penetrating oil (multiple applications over a couple days), heat with a heat gun and induction heater, air powered impact driver, air hammer on the end of the bolt and a 2m long extension arm(broke the 1/2" square
