Problem with Columbus - No Audio

Featured Replies

Now had my Elegance 170CR for two weeks (and am otherwise very happy with it)

(For reference, we paid for the "extra speakers")

In that time I've twice noticed the Columbus "rebooting" mid trip.

Tonight, it went a step further. We went outside for a trip, and there was no Audio.

That's no radio, No Media, No Mobile Phone, No spoken directions.

If you selected Media, you could go to a list of tracks, but it wouldn't actually let you select one. You COULD select a radio station - but no sound would come, whatever you did.

The Mobile phone system was not accepting voice commands - even saying"Cancel" had no effect. However if you dialled a call manually, they could hear you, but you couldn't hear them.

We tried various resets, changing back to factory faults etc. Engine off and on

We were just about to try pulling the fuse. It's in the Engine Fuse Box so I had to reverse the card - as I started the engine, Audio system suddenly sprang back into life. So I suspect a bug.
