jamex extreme coilovers £330-400, 20-60mm adjustment,

ive lowered mine about 55mm, no probs.

Any pics?

Cheers,

Josh

it only gets impractical when you wind the coilovers really low,i recon i'm running mine at about 60mm with no worries, whereas it was wound all the way down at first and speed humps were a small problem for comfort, and with the 17"s on and 215/40 tyres it scrubbed a little i would recon when first done it was around 90-100mm lower

ahhh brilliant, coilovers are an issue but ive found a rather good suspension kit wich will drop it around 50mm so should be ok then, you bos got any pics of your fabias?

If you go too low dont you have to do the drop links too?

Mines as low as it went (on the back anyways) another 10mm on the front ... i'd say this was about 100mm maybe??

well anyway it was aweful...

now im running around 60/70mm maybe?? and its bob on :) the yellow one is maybe 10-15mm higher

No, just depnds which suspension set up you run.

Im all the way down front and rear on my coilovers -75mm.

When running the 17's there is no problems with catching on anything.

On the 16's i cought on speed bumps and cought the subframe on some roads.

I dont run an undertray now, as its pretty smashed up.

But with -50mm on 16's or 17's you'll have no problems at all.

80mm rear 50mm front, now 50 all round ill get a fresh pic later,

ive got 16's on,

the jamex extreme's come with the drop links.

Some mega reverse rake going on there.

Keep the nose down lower then the back.

I can get coilovers for £240! ;)

do these fit fabias.. that is the question any chance these are the ones from Club polo?.

Im looking at the Vmaxx coilovers for around 360 quid they lower it up to 65mm both ends probably enough for what i need.

also there are Gmax coilovers.

what are the jamex ones like any good?

Im running Vmaxx.. good enough for what i want them to do... and they go quite low :) lower than KW V1's anyway :)

also the top wheels are obviosuly std vrs 16" and the other 2 are 17's with 205/40/17 tires

-30mm on Eibach Springs and standard shocks

if you read,

'' now 50 all round ill get a fresh pic later'',

its more 55mm all round, that pic was taken with no rear adjusters as they was missing from the package, hense the super lowe back end.

i rate them, they dont dive loads round corners, they dip then hold nice. im really pleased with them, proformance/price wise there bob on. so much better than the standard stuff, But my fab is NOT a VRS, its a tdi pd100,

-30mm on Eibach Springs and standard shocks

POTN - If you are looking for an BK Racing BK299 7.0x16" Silver Set of 4 wheels and tyres click here BK Racing

And Gmaxx Coilovers for £400

any other ideas? any more pictures with peoples ride heights would be excellent, i looked on the fabia alloys thread but not all of the ride heights are noted some look differnt to each others even tho some reckon they have less and what not.... Crazy :)

Oh and do many of you use the droplinks when you've dropped your car more then 40mm?:o

if you look on this blog, about 3/4 of the way down the page you will see my car as it is now,70mm front 50mm rear, with the pics taken by someone who knows mre than me on photograpy, you may want to read the small feature too:D
