Is this the N75 Valve on 1.9TDI BJB Engine (Pic Enclosed)

Featured Replies

Hi all, i've a problem with my Octavia at the moment in which there is no boost at all!

Tried cleaning the MAF and checking as much of the vaccuum pipes as possible, boost pipes look intact.

Next part is the N75, in the pic below is this the offending item?

Its not like the other valves i can see and in the diagrams ive seen of the vacuum system it suggests this is the item.

I cannot understand why it would connect into what i presume is the mechanical fuel pump thats operated on the end of the camshaft.

Then run up to the bulk head and run left across the back, at which point i loose sight of it and presume it runs into the vacuum of the brake servo?

Can anyone confirm this is the N75 valve?

As the ones ive seen on the net have 3 small tubes for vacuum pipes as id expected, but are usually for the Mk4 golfs and Mk1 Octavia's i know on the octavia there attatched to the bulk head?

Apparently its in the vacuum box to the right of the little valve in the centre of this pic....replaced the vacuum box and not cured my problem of my turbo not working. So im guessing its a fubard turbo or the vanes have stuck?
