Turbo timer

You basically can not fit a turbo timer to a derv. Not sure why - It could even be possible but I know of no-one who has actually done it. I run a big turbo, etc etc, and i don't need one. Just take care and give it a little rest at the end of some WOT to give time for the oil to circulate and the turbo to cool down.

Fitting a turbo timer and keeping the engine running is exactly what you DON'T want when you're trying to cool a turbo down. Just fit a decent oil temperature gauge and drive accordingly.

Turbo timers are nothing but chav-sessories for the Halfords generation.

Yep

Pointless

The turbo only needs cooling if youve been ragging it a shortly before you turn it off, odds are the rest of the car would also be hot so that all needs cooling, a gentle run a mile or 2 before you switch off is all thats required.
