New Skoda Fabia VRS owner.

Featured Replies

Just thought I would introduce myself and say hello.

I had a Seat Altea Sport TDI 140bhp which my wife stole from me after the wee yin was born leaving me with a rather dull and uninspiring Seal Arosa 1.0l which while being practical meant that I couldnt pull skin off of custard! To be honest I am quite happy for her to have the Altea as her car was due to be changed anyway and its a safer car for the little yin to be transported about in.

So off I went car shopping promising the wife that I was just getting a "cheap little run-around" and thats exactly what I did. I may have gone £1k above budget but I'm sure the MPG over the next few years will easily see me claw that back.

I took the Fabia VRS out on a test drive and well they say the rest is history. Great car for the money, 04 plate in plack with 36k on the clock, new tyres all round, and full Skoda dealer service history as well as a ten disc CD changer in the boot. It was just meant to be mine:D!

I have even told the wife a little white lie, that it was only £4.5k and not £5.5k, but what she doesnt know wont hurt her right???? However if your ever out in Glasgow and see a blonde woman wearing a pair of earings that look strangely like testicles then you know that I've been caught out.

Look forward to becomming a regular on here, have a great Christmas and a happy New Year when it comes chaps and chapesses.

Well, I pick her up tomorrow morning, full valet of the interior has been done, now dry, waxed and polished by the garage and ready to go.

Looking forward to picking up my new baby, might just go for a wee run in her! Stirling and the Trossachs, over to Crainlarach, down the side of Loch Lomond then home for a good loving wash.
