Well after weeks of waiting for authorisations my fleet manager called today and said I could wait until March for a factory order or have a Satin Grey example in 3 weeks time...guess which I chose!!!

The car is a 170 Elegance with Park Assist and Onyx interior...I'm chuffed to bits that I dont have a long wait.

Did you order through ING as well, took me an age to get them to get the authorisations from those required and have been told to expect delivery in January, but will wait and see on that.

Yet to see one on the road in my area of the shires, so could be cool as i've order an 170 elegance.

Got to say its been great watching this forum for a few weeks as its solved quite a few of the concerns I had especially on the phone pairing as I have a BT ToGo or for real people an HTS S620, now ifthey could just sort out the long post codes on the sat nav and forget that I ordered park assist and just leave the front sensors all will be cool.

Just found out today (after returning from a short break) that the car is still not confirmed as mine (needed to confirm the interior was Onyx), apparently it was still available on the 29th, but the fleetmanager's contact at Lloyds Autolease was away until today, should have it confirmed tomorrow...if not it's the long wait until March.

erniem..why do you not want Park Assist?

TBH having tried it, its not something i'll use that often, but I wanted front sensors and the cost differential wasn't that great so I ordered it.

You need a gap of a larger space than you would normally take for it to work properly.

It's a great innovation, just not sure i'll get the true value of using it that often.

Hope you get your order sorted out as It looks like the car is gonna be great, not back at work for another week so won't be able to find the status on mine till then.

Spoke to my fleet manager today and I am now getting brilliant silver car (170 Elegance manual) with Onyx interior and Park Assist (plus mats).

It's "dock date" is in 2 weeks time, so the car should be mine in 3 to 4 weeks.

Well done! The only Superb II I've seen so far on the road was a silver Elegance and it looked really smart.
