YELLOW & WHITE Theme on my VRS

Featured Replies

As some of you have seen my pics with my White spiders on. I was thinking of having the mirrors sprayed chrome or silver until (jokingly SWMBO said)

"Why not colour them White?" She was only joking but the look of horror came across her face when she saw that she had given me a mod idea lol. Now Im thinking what else would look nice colour coded with the Yellow and White theme.

The only other idea ive got is to colour the brake calipers white too.

They are gloss black at the minute and I know they will get dirty quick but that doesnt matter.

Anybody got any serious ideas ?????

Don't get too carried away!

Some mods will look good but it you go too far you'll end up spoiling it IMHO.

I think white mirrors and calipers would look pretty good.

Any more white would be OTT imo

Trouble is, the white Calipers would look so grubby very quickly & then would never actually be white again !!

I think white mirrors would look pretty good but that's as far as I'd go tbh - I'd keep the callipers black to contrast with the white wheels :)

I like how you're going for something different though :)

Get some white MK1 GTI stripes (in the right thickness and with the right gap between them) made up and whack them up the side, in the roughly the same place as they would be on a Golf... It's just a shame there's no swage line there to line them up against.

wot about a white grille? the chrome bit.

White roof.

I've seen it on a couple of yellow Fabia MK II Sports and it looks good IMHO

Can't find a pic of one now though!

no I think it looks nice as it is. I seen a black Punto with a white roof and it looks a little odd. Black roofs look like SUNROOF. I kept my mirrors silver as there large mirrors and I think it will make the fabia look big eared with them a diffrent color, as they will stand out more.

IMO your car looks spot on as it is.

Maybe colour code the chrmoe grill, and leave it at that.

Less is more. ;)

How about a Starsky & Hutch white stripe down both sides... :D

Yellow calipers i think would look better plus wont look so dirty. What about white handles???

That sounds good. Think the mirrors would look ok Chrome abit like a S3

I think just paint the mirrors white would be good

Yes, & Remove all the side windows so you can dive straight in :D Don't forget to leap on the Bonnet & Slide Down first Etc

In all fairness...

White viper stripes may suit the car very well.

The Black ones look good on a yellow one on here........... but I think white is just to much of a contrast

Littlebull - I love your car at the moment.

I would however suggest that you paint your grill and door handles yellow to match the car. The only other white you should add is the roof.

The white roof is the best option around that I have seen on the yellow beasts.

Yellow lights.

Im def going to paint the door handles Yellow and heres the plan come warmer weather.

1) Bonnet & front bumper respray OEM Lemon Yellow

2) White wing mirrors

3) Yellow brake calipers (As close to Lemon Yellow as poss)

4) Have the spiders reconditioned white again.

Not sure about the front grill though  think Im just going to leave that bit chrome.
