Happy boxing day everybody!

First time visitor so pleae be gentle. Am waiting to collect my first ever Skoda - an 07 plate Octavia vRS diesel. I am collecting on Monday 29th. I live near Warrington in Cheshire but have found the car (an ex-Skoda management car) in Bedford, so I have the lovely task of driving my current car (an 02 reg petrol Focus) all the way down to Bedford to chop in against the vRS, then driving the Skoda all the way home! Tis a hard life!

Any pointers towards specific forums, people etc would be most welcome. Any pointers on things to look out for on the drive home too - car still well under warranty so anything that isn't "just so" will be being dealt with!

Look forward to getting to know people.

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. I already had a lot of help to fix broken gear selector - thanks! I also found that the passenger side front suspension spring has broken - so I'm off to the garage for that! For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car. I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi guys I'm new here. I have a Skoda Fabia mk2 2011 tsi. I've noticed the clip on the left were the shelf parcel clips is broken but not completely snapped off. So I used some super glue; not sure if this would work and how long it would last. How can I replace this please? It seems to be part of a panel. Thank you all
