I can't believe I would've owned my vrs for three years come march :eek:

So, in preparation for the end of the warranty I want to do some final checks on the car to make sure everything is as it should be. I have never had any leaky door problems and check these regularly because of the known issues others have had. I had the stutter fix done soon after getting the car.

The car drives like a dream, so nothing is sticking out to me. Anything else I need to check up on before it's too late?

If nothing stands out I doubt there's anything worth getting looked at.

A vag com scan perhaps would be worthwhile - I should have it on me come the IOW invasion (I do hope to come)

Take it back and ask for a real one. You can tell if it's real, as it'll have OCTAVIA written on the back.

Now that is an interesting thought. I really would try that just to see if it worked with the dealer. Unfortunetly I plan to investigate getting something even more exciting than an Octavia, sorry, a real vRS.

That is good advice getting your MOT done early, mine is an 06 like yours and nothing has gone wrong apart from the Bl00dy leak.
