gone from "Type-R" to "vRs"

Featured Replies

Hi there everybody. Just want to say "Hello".

I'm looking forward to picking my Octavia vRS TFSi up next week.

Currently Driving a Integra Type-R (UKDM DC2) and loving it :D but I need something a bit more "easy to live with" lol. Done alot of research and thinking and eventualy opted for the vRS. It ticks all the box's, and I wanted something a little different rather than be ANOTHER VXR or ST on the road .

Cant wait to collect it. I'll have to see if it will still give me the "grin factor" the Integra does.

Rgs, Glen.

Welcome Glen.

Thanks people.

What type-R have you bought? How are you finding it compared to the vRS?

The one in my sig and avatar... ;)

I used to have a Fabia vRS, so a very different animal to your new car. I'm sure you'll love it however, only boredom made me get rid in the end, I had the vRS for over two years, which for me is unheard of.

I'll be interested to know how you get on with yours, keep us posted.

Welcome.

I think you will find it more comfortable and easy to live with then the Teg, but I doubt it will put even a slight smile on your face in comparison. I found the Mk2 Vrs "too" safe, too "dull".....if you like an enthusiastic drive. I'll be interested to see what you think anyway. Good car by the way, just doesnt know where your adrenaline lives.
