Installing Nokia ck-15w blutooth kit in Octy II

Featured Replies

Thinking of installing one of these kits in my new Octy instead of re installing the ck-7W I'm about to take out the fabia.

Any suggestions on where to install the screen on these units so it can look neat, but not in the way, or have cables showing.

My thought about using one of these kits with the screen is if I can see who is calling on the display, then I have no need to have a cradle for the phone, and it can kist live in the arm rest out the way.

Depending on your mobile, why not set your mobile to say the callers name? Most modern handsets can do this.

I'd get a CK300 if the mobile has a large enough screen. They're compatible with this Nokia Car Menu app that turns the phone itself into a display, quite neat actually.

Shame the same app doesn't work independent of the hardware car kit for people with an on-ear handsfree.
