Is this fuel pipe routed correctly (vrs tfsi)?

Featured Replies

I've recently had some work done on the fuel system and noticed the fuel pipe doesn't look routed correctly. Is the fuel pipe in this image routed correctly (vrs tfsi)? Should it go under the water pipe? It touches and I can imagine the pipes will rub and eventually make a hole.

Looks like it mate...just squeeze the metal clip together off the expansion bottle with a pair of pliers and route the pipe over the top

Had a brain-wave and looked at the photos of the engine bay on parkers. It has indeed been routed incorrectly. Slapped wrist for the garage!

Does anyone have any pictures of where the fuel pipe comes in (under the coolent resivoir)? Whilst attempting to swap the pipes round the fuel pipe doesnt want to go down. It's held by some plastic clips in a box that the fuel pipe in and out go. I cant see where the pipe should be clipped in this box, or how to move it.
