octavia heater

Featured Replies

hi there i have a skoda octavia 1998 glxi

and the heaters have acked in not blowing at all, had a look at the fuses and they seem fine. Can anyone suggest anything??

1) have a full vehicle fault code scan, it will tell you if the heater is showing any issues

2) remove the glovebox, there is the fan right ahead, held by 2 screws on the plastic bottom housing, the fan then slides down and out once the wiring is disconnected.

3) switch the fan on and test the wiring is delivering 12v. If so, replace fan.

See if it works on full. If it only works on full, then it is likely to be the series resistor. Otherwise, it is likely to be the blower motor.
