Alonso is an idiot. Lost all respect with the whole Mclaren thing.

Renault were the only team who'd have him. Ferrari had drivers signed for 2009, so no opening for Alonso without huge payoffs for Kimi and Massa. Never gonna happen.

All he's doing is proving what an **** he is, and reducing the amount of people willing to massage his oversized ego.

blokes a to**er. i quite like ferrari and id be well put off them if they signed alonso as a driver.

what i would like though is for Mclaren to sign Jenson Button and get a british team and drivers going, and i think it is long overdue button getting a car that would complement is abilities

Button blew it the day he insulted Sir Frank Williams by p***ing up the wall a golden opportunity where he could have been the original Hamilton.

Instead, he paid no attention to setting up a car, something he admits to - even pre-f1, and as such couldnt tell a good setup from bad. So Williams dumped him ASAP (didnt button buy out his contract as Williams demoted him to test drive 2 ?).

I feel for him having a poor car, and when he did have a chance, Honda/BAR being disqualified. But most of his misfortune was his own doing. Hence being 'stuck' at Honda.

Ferrari not keeping Kimi after the wonderful season he had.

Button is useless. Typical hype cause he's English.

Button got where he is today by his daddies deep pockets - the total opposite of Hamilton who has talent by the bucketful and a dad who worked his ******** off to get him racing.
