Fabia rear Strut brace

Featured Replies

Fitted a Jabba rear strut brace to my Vrs yesterday (Cheers cav )

Twos a bit fiddly & awkward but once done looks great & has made the car feel less spongey & more positve through the corners :D

Would post a pic but Blumin Fotopic.net is not available :(

No it's Aluminium :D:rofl:

On all the Car's i have had & have nearly always put a rear strut brace on & it does make a Difference, Some cars more subtley than others, But when you think of it, Any form of bracing has to make more of a difference than a piece of fresh air ;)

but the effect is very good, just a bit of a pain to take off:D

Forge?

Awesome bit of kit, well happy with mine :0)

The Jabba one is the rear Anti Roll Bar (rear ARB), the Forge one is the rear strut brace :)

The Jabba one has a very pronounced (positive IMHO) effect on the handling, the Forge one stiffens up the rear further which is a nice additional mod but it does take boot space (it is removable).

It might just be me but I always think people with rear strut braces in their boot look like knobs.

No offence intended ;)

Not half as daft as those who have Rear Strut Braces Fitted in the front :D:rofl:

It's all down to preference & i like many others like to make my cars drive positively & this is one of the markers in getting there, it's not for looks but for the feel .. ;)

I agree that they don't look great, and i wouldn't remove the parcel shelf in order to show it off.

The beauty of it is, although it takes up space in the boot (space i don't really miss personaly) its a good mod that can be hidden easily.

You could walk past my car in a car park and not have a clue that its got one fitted. Thats the type of MOD i like ;)

A pic of Wiebo's one..
