Greeting from Scotland. My name is Fee. I bought a lovely wee '00 Fabia comfort last week , lovely apart from the fact it didn't come with an owner manual , so no doubt i will be popping in now and again to bug you all with some questions.

Linlithgow - what are the meets like ?

Linlithgow - A fellow member Andrew (Wet Kipper) comes from there, he drives a blue Fabia vRS SE.

The meets we mainly have are jointly with Scottish Vag and we have two meets a month in Edinburgh at Fountain Park and the Melville inn on the outskirts of edinburgh.

I have just stuck up details of our first big meet of the year in March if you want to pop along, but keep a eye out as hopefully there will be a camping trip and we might even have our own monthly meet as well.

Hi guys, I'm at desperation stage here. Changed bearings on the car. Ball joints also changed. The threads on my TREs were goosed from getting the busy off, so I bought new ones to replace them. My issue is the jam nuts. I have watched/read pretty much everything that's out there, yet these things won't budge. Tried heat, spray etc. Is it definitely clockwise for both to loosen them off you are looking at the hub from the outside of the wheel arch? Lefty loosey when looking from the insid

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue.
