Hello - first time Skoda owner - coolant warning

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I have recently bought an 05 plate black Fabia vRS as a Christmas prezzie, and I love it. Heated seats, cruise and a disc changer all factory fitted - something of a step-up from my old polo!

One thing though - in cold weather the coolant warning light comes on (with audible alarm) and stays on. Coolant level is ok - also took it to local Skoda dealer to let them look over it and they say they can find nothing wrong.

Once car is warm if you turn off ignition, and re-start the warning no longer appears. Any ideas anyone? It is a bit un-nerving.

Many thanks.

Welcome.
