Fabia replacement

Featured Replies

I'm looking at trading up from my vrs not sure what quite to go for, today I had a test drive in a golf 1.4 tsi 170bhp quite impressed but the cars power delivery is a lot different to the diesel I'm used to. Other than that I've previously had a go in the Leon TDI 170bhp which is much similar to the VRS but a little quicker. Can anyone give me any more advice as I really cannot decide between the two with so many pro's and con's to weigh up.

I'd stick with the VRS. As you have discovered you have to rev the nuts off the Polo to get it to move. So if you have the change the choice is clear, the Leon, based on fuel costs.

Leon by far. Its all so a much better looking car than the golf

i prefere the golf tbh,was looking round yesterday and there are some good deals around at the mo,i thin the golf gt tdi 170 would be a good choice

id go with the leon, golf's are really common (although v good) but the leon looks fresh and a little different.

Think the insurance just clinched it for the Leon as its only 80 quid more to insure, but I could not get insurance for the petrol golf.
