is road noise with these wheels causing trouble to other users ( sounds like wheel bearing trouble )

i want to change the factory fit stereo for a flip out dvd player or double din unit, i have bought a facia plate from the net and it is naff looking, i have been told there is a skoda facia plate available with materials used in making it the sama as the dash originals , can somebody give me the skoda part number

on hols last year i saw a skoda octy in spain with a rear badge located under the octy name which read...... DSG TDI with the i in red . looked really well and i want one for my baby again can you guys supply a part number ???

i also have a passenger side (rhd) under seat storage compartment in black plastic .. is there one available for under my seat .. perhaps for an eu lhd model would it be the same to fit .. again a part number would be great ...

heres hoping you guys can answer my questions.. many thanks

great site and wont be the last time i visit .. i love skodas and this is their site:)

Hi

I can't answer all your queries, but certainly with road noise, it may be tyre related - on 16" whells Bridgestone Turanzas are often fitted (as they were on my car) and are really, really noisy on most road surfaces. Many owners change to a different brand when the tyres are worn - it also seems that the noise from these tyres increase once they are down to 2 - 3mm. Are you using these tyres?

Regarding under seat storage, there was a previous post on here regarding adding one to the drivers seat on rhd drive cars - I'm sure if you do the search you find the details.

Glen

The fascia plate you mention is a genuine Skoda part in the accessories brochure so your dealer can get it for you.
