Impromtu Photoshoot

Featured Replies

SWMBO decided to get herself a spangly new digital SLR in the Jan sales and the weekend was the first real time she had to test it out.

My instructions were simple "Find somewhere pretty to take pictures!"

North facing frozen hillside still covered in frost from at 3pm? Job done.

Having transported her to said location, parked up and watched her take pics of various frosty scenes it dawned on me that the Fabia (just washed that morning) was sat out of shot and was starting to sulk...

A bit of gentle persuasion and the results are as follows:

Nice scenic pics mate and nice looking car mate.

Looking good, You could have cleaned your exhaust though:P;)

Very nice - I like the contrast between the almost black & white backdrop an the red Fab

Very arty indeed!

I'm impressed  As has been said already, liking the contrast.

Should we start some kind of a separate photoshooting thread? This way all the little artists inside us would get satisfaction ;)

Like the pics btw :)

**EDIT: What I meant was to start a separate Fabia photoshoot thread on the Fabia forum section...? :P

Very good - Starting to make me miss mine...

Actually came out a lot better than i was expecting. Glad the car is red and not silver as it would have almost vanished in the frosty scenery.

and the exhaust was cleaned......ish!

Dude this is what to aim for!:P

who has time to do that?! i

wiped the outer with a sponge and brushed the inner with the paint brush i use for my wheels. it'll be sooty in 100 yards anyways! :P

Tube of Autosol, An old toothbrush and a cloth and 10-15mins.

Amazingly little effort required to get satisfying results

And a clean tail pipe just makes the car look that much cleaner, Same with tyre shine.

Yup, what he said ^^. Its makes all the difference!

jeeze it was only a quick winter wash! :P

the photos afterwards were purely coincidental! :P:P

and i'll remember the advise when i next enter a "show & shine" :P:P

Cliff, for God's sake don't mention the 'sponge' word on a car forum...... you'll never hear the end of it!!

Oh and don't use a f*%king sponge to clean your car!!!
