Creak from door / dash

Featured Replies

I have a creak from where the door meets the dash on my 4 month old octavis rs and the only way i can ease it is jam my fingers between the door and the dask and then remove them and the creak almost disappears. i've used Silicone spray on the door seals and in and around the dash and nothing works. It seems to have happened a month ago or so when I had the car jacked up from the front passanger side. Up to then I had no noise. Any ideas.

Also a noise a bit like a seat belt rattling ( its not I checked) in the back on the passanger side when driving on a coarse road. Any Ideas?

Thanks

JC

Passanger or Drivers side?

I had one at Passangers side, garage had a look but broke fitting on door. Lot better since new door card on. After windscreen was replaced had noise from roughly same spot, found to be from bottom left corner of screen/dash area, something must have been misplaced as I pushed some sponge down and its sorted it (well that and some adjustment of the dash with screws at side of it).
