Dash Removal?

Featured Replies

I have recently just finished designing a flip down Tom Tom holder for my car.

Does any one know how to remove the push to release opening flap on top of the dash.

It seams to be connected to the top heater ducts. I am hoping to remove it and attach my home made bracket so that my tom tom folds down when the lid is shut and slides up when opened. Off course I will have to drill two holes in the bottom of it, one for the power lead, and the other for the traffic areal.

Thanks

Just prise it out, its just clipped in. Start with the lower edge below the hazzard switch, and pull upwards. The heater ducts and vents are not connected together.

Thank you I have now got it out. Apart from struggling to disconnect the hazard warning wires on the back of the switch.

Fiddly little things
