WD -similar to mine ,except mine is 2.8 with an onboard LAN -have posted up my fix (control panel /device manager /update using the XP drivers -found it worked) on the other Win7 post .Then onece you've got on net -microsoft decides that there's an online update available (could I FIND IT ):confused::confused:

Re IE8, on the TOOLS/Internet Options/General /delete section - there is a nifty option to delete cookies ,with the exception of those in you're favourites -IMHO nice one MS -gets rid of the crap but keeps those you want .
