Hi,

slightly random "problem" I have experienced whilst driving tonight. When the car hits 3k rpm, the rev counter seems to stick, even though the revs are still building, and speed is increasing. It suddenly jumps back into action about 3250 - 3500, but will stick, in every gear at 3k for a second or so, then jump into action.

any ideas!?!

This will probably be the actual needle sticking on the rev counter. If you know anyone local with VAGCOM they can test the gauge using software, which will rule out a sensor or voltage regulator.

unfortunately, I know of no-one!!

However, it didnt do it this morning on the way to work....temporary glitch maybe? I will keep an eye on it and see what happens!!
