I'm new here and just wanted to know does the WITSON D782S fit in an Octavia 1?

Or is it only for Octavia 2. I looked on the homepage ZHUHAI WITSON INDUSTRIAL CO.,LTD. but I can't find any description!

What you need is a standard double din headunit, witson do make and sell one. However the ebay seller that everyone used to get their witson headunits is no longer registered on ebay.

These witson units will all fit, however you will need to locate a supplier in germany

Just to :bump:

I came across this UK supplier for Witson units: E-Store Global - Leading Distributers for In Car Entertainment

They list the D780 for the Octy2 and the D782 for the Octy1. I thought the same as above though, that the dash design on the Octy1 wouldn't support either unit.

They do a version for a vw d752a and for an audi a4 w2-725v which are the right shape for an octy 1 dash ,may be easier to fit if they are already pre wired for vw/audi/skoda connectors .
