Just wondering - would a polo exhaust fit onto a fabia 1? something like a straight through system? manifold etc?

ye had a quote for bespoke an it was like 150 just for the backbox. i know its a 1.2 but be a nice show car which is the plan.

Where's that from? You should be able to get it cheaper than that. Shame you aint closer to me, think i would be able to get you a backbox cheaper.

If its only the backbox, pretty much anything will fit as long as you can get it to a good fitter/custom exhaust maker to modify the hangers to the exhaust...........

cut the back box off, straight pipe with a tailtrim on the end?

Not sure if it would pass emmissions though.

Would definately give a louder sound, failing that, good old universal back box could be in order lol

lol doubt it would pass the emission, done something similar on my old felicia an they guy was like it would of passed but... i knoew it was the zorst straight away.

with a bit of fiddlin would most backboxes go on?

As long as the pipe fits secure into the exhaust and you can "modify" where the hangers on the back box are, then TBH i dont see why not, Dave

You can buy reducers for the exhaust but if you want, i'll check the pipework on the exhaust

i was asking a similar thing about an ibiza backbox on mine. i wanted the oval milltek that only comes on the ibiza. after some investigation it would be too long on the tail pipe and stick out too far. The problem would also be the hangers, diffrent places.

so in the end i got a miltek system from here with de-cat and down pipe. got it at a good price.

personaly i think no back box is a bit too loud..... it is only a skoda remember, not a super car:)
